Bug ID: 92995
Summary: blank screen after x-server exits
Product: xorg
Version: 7.7 (2012.06)
Hardware: x86 (IA32)
OS: FreeBSD
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Driver/geode
Assignee: xorg-driver-***@lists.x.org
Reporter: ***@demig.de
QA Contact: xorg-driver-***@lists.x.org

I tried using xf86-geode version 2.11.17 + patches for msr r/w access.
Xorg -version reports 1.17.4.
FreeBSD version is 9.1.
Chipset is Geode LX 800 cpu, pci id 0x1022:0x2081.

The X server itself seems to run without problems.
When I exit the server the screen blanks.
Starting the X server again (blindly)
turns the screen on.

X server 1.7.7 with geode driver version 2.11.14
did not have this problem.

I tried FreeBSD kernel with/without vesa module loaded
and X server with option -dpms.
It makes no difference.

Could this be related to this other bug:

I don not thin that this is related
as there is no lx_enable_dac_power()
in 2.11.14 either.
